I’ve been looking everywhere, and I can’t seem to find where I could get a job working for 911. I’ve done my FFI and FFII training, and will be retaking EMT-Basic in janurary, I’d like a job somewhat in my field. Anybody know where I can get info on this, or know where to apply?

Adam, this site provides many of the great jobs that may exist in Michigan. It is a very competitive market right now and the EMT and Paramedic is crucial. Make sure you are on the email list here and we will keep you up to date on postings around the state. You may need to look around for a paid on call fire fighting job in your area, maybe private EMS, or even private fire/security

Mike,

Thanks for the info, I wish I could be paid on call, but I’m still a loser, and living with my parents, and the paid on call dept is not in the city I live in. I live in Brownstown, and I’d apply to work for them since they are hiring, but I’m not a paramedic yet. I’m on the e-mail listing now, thanks again, hope your Christmas was great!
