I still believe alot of fighting will go away simply by becoming a State having a truly single consensus based set of codes to provide the higher level of safety for Michigan Citizens and firefighters alike. Sprinklers - They are in there. More comprehensive HAZ-MAT - It's in there. Contractors are crying out for a single source to eliminate conflicts. What do your Senators and State Representatives know about the codes and the opportunity for every community's building and/or fire prevention division being trained at NO Cost to the community AND receiving the Updated Codes at no cost? What would they say if you told them? I think it's time to do that and stop the fighting.
