The Charter Township of Redford Police and Fire Civil Service Commission are accepting applications for the position of auxiliary FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC. Auxiliary firefighters will be scheduled in advance to work 24 hour shifts and shorter shifts as staffing needs dictate. Should the need arise to hire full-time firefighters, consideration may be given to active auxiliary firefighters.
AMONG THE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have sixty (60) semester hours or ninety (90) quarter hours of college credit, be currently certified by the State of Michigan as a Firefighter Level II, be a licensed paramedic, and have successfully passed the Conference of Western Wayne Firefighter Testing Program. An equivalent CPAT may be considered.
SALARY: $13.13 per hour

COPIES OF: College transcripts, Firefighter Level II Certification, paramedic license and current certificates of completion for both the written and physical agility tests from the Conference of Western Wayne Firefighter Testing Program must accompany the application.
