A number of years ago, a gentleman by the name of Max Brandt served the Michigan State Firemen’s Association as the Secretary-Treasurer, and provided the Association with guidance for many years in that office.
Upon his passing, it was decided by the Past Presidents of the MSFA to establish a scholarship in his honor. This scholarship is awarded at the annual conference of The Michigan State Firemen’s Association each year to at least two recipients of $500 each.
