RAFT to Host Multiple Training Courses

The Regional Alliance for Fire Fighter Training is hosting two separate programs for firefighters, instructors, and company officer.

PRIVATE DWELLING FIRES

Featuring Vincent Dunn (FDNY, ret.)

This full day training program examines, in detail, offensive and defensive firefighting strategy and tactics for the seven different occupancies listed below.  Size-up, hose line positioning, aerial & ground ladder placement, interior & exterior fire spread problems, ventilation principles, search and rescue techniques, collapse-explosion-flashover dangers; and most important – safety and survival on the fireground will be studied.

Drivers Training Update and New Train the Trainer

he Michigan Fire Fighter Training council has updated the Driver’s Training program and has a required update for all current instructors (Drivers training instructors). There are multiple update classes being held across the state. In addition if you are an approved instructor through the MFFTC you can apply to become a new driver’s training instructor and attend one of the upcoming courses.
