Firefighters Limit Fire Spread

Last night, Ann Arbor Fire Department responded to a working fire in the former Pinball Pete’s on South University and Church St. next to University Towers.  The fire was dangerously close to adjacent south towers and in the down-town district.  Firefighters worked quickly with Pittsfield and Ypsilanti Firefighters to limit the spread of fire.

Early photos show that a large crowd gathered as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire in the vacant structure.  The building was formally used as an arcade and was one of the longstanding arcades in the area. v
