A Proud Partner in Your Community, EMS Week May 17-23

Have you ever had the question come up on why did a fire engine respond to the medical at the neighbors house?  I

s it possible that your community needs additional public education on what firefighters do for EMS.  The fire service has been on the front line of EMS services since the inception.  Fire fighters that are cross trained  have been providing care to the public for years and now it is time to be apart of EMS week.

National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.”

Ensuring that the public is aware of your response can be highlighted through a public resolution or many events to help raise awareness.  This information can be used throughout the year for public education and safety programs.
