Worldclass Speakers to Present November 19th 8am-5pm

firefightersafetyandcodesThe Michigan Fire Inspector Society along with the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs and other fire service groups are proud to  host Sean DeCrane and Bob Davidson on how the fire service is changing firefighter safety through stronger fire and building codes.

Join us on November 19th from 8am-5pm at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI.

When discussing the safety of fire fighters and their work environment, it is important to establish the true work environment. The fire station is merely the staging area—the locations we respond to are our true work environment. To positively impact this work environment, the fire fighter must be involved in the process that establishes how it will be designed, built, and maintained: the code development process. This program will examine specific incidents and issues where fire service involvement has made a positive impact through code changes or has protected the work environment by preventing proposed changes.
