More Grants for Michigan
East Lansing Fire Department Receives Grant. FEMA has awarded a $531,000 assistance to firefighters grant to East Lansing. They plan to put the money toward the purchase of a 100-foot aerial ladder truck worth about $600,000.
Midland township fire department has also received an AFG grant worth $95,000 that will be utilized to increase the levels of training in the department.

Richard Marinucci, has been sworn in as the new Deputy Public Safety Director of fire service. Marinucci has retired from Farmington Hills with nearly 30 years of leadership experience and will serve as a change agent for Northville Township Fire Department.
Douglas LaFond has been named the Deputy Fire Chief / Fire Marshal in Allen Park
John Kelley has been sworn in as the new Green Oak Fire department shift captian. Kelley has been a long time Brighton firefighter and will serve Green Oak as one of three shift captains.
