Lots of Personnel Stuff
Ann Arbor Firefighters may see a reduction in personnel which could put their staffing levels at an all time low. The staffing cuts which could take place early next year are in response to the funding cuts issued by Governor Jennifer Granholm. This includes the reduction in the state revenue sharing to the local municipalities.
The Deputy Public Safety Director for the Muskegon Fire Department has resigned. Without stating a reason, Mark Kincaid resigned his post as the lead fire official for the City. The Muskegon news reported on Sunday that the post has not been filed and an official reason has not been stated at this time.
