There is still time to enroll in the Structural Collapse Rescue Awareness/Operations course set for May 12-15.

Meets and exceeds NFPA Standards 1670 for Building Collapse Rescue! The program is being offered in Howell, Michigan at the Operating Engineers Training Center (M-59 near Michigan Ave.). This class is provided with cooperation of the Operating Engineers and Michigan State University.

Topics include:

  • All Awareness operations
  • Interior Building Shoring
  • Exterior Building Shoring
  • Moving and Lifting (light loads with airbags, levers)
  • Breaching and Breaking (wood walls, light steel walls)
  • Using Search Camera and Search Dog Basics.
